Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on the 1st October 1995. She was born in Berkeley, California, USA. She is an actress, well-known for Choices 2010 (also known as The Heart and Other Small Shapes), Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022), and The Heart and Other Small Shapes.
Asia Argento began her career as an actor in Rome. The family she is from also comprises of film makers. She began her career in film at the age of nine in Sergio Citti's Sogni bisogni. At the age of eighteen, she was the star of Cristina Comencini's Zoo and part of Michele Soavi's The Church. The film featured her as Nanni's daughter. next the following year on Red Wood Pigeon. It was the beginning of her professional career when it was launched with Close Friends, written and directed Michele Placido. It was well received during the Cannes International Film Festival. She worked with her father for the first time in Trauma which was directed by the acclaimed Italian horror director Dario Argento. The mother of her, Daria Nicoleli, is the most adored actress of Argento, as she portrayed an orexic trying to track down her parents' killer. Asia's intense way of performing was well used in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze. Co-starring with Carlo Verdone in Perdiamoci di vista as Arianna an actress who is physically disabled. This intricate and difficult part earned her the David di Donatello award for Best actress. In 1995 she teamed up alongside Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte Compagna di viaggio in which she was awarded a David di Donatello. Asia started directing in the year 1994, releasing two shorts and an episode from the movie De Generazione. In 1996 she made a documentary about her father and AbelAsia, a film on the famous director Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which won awards at the Rome Film Festival. Asia directed her debut feature in Scarlet Diva (1999), in which she was both the main actress in the film as well as the writer of the screenplay. In May 2000, the film was released throughout the world. The film was awarded the Brooklyn's special prize at the Williamsburg festival of film.
